Ramiro Amador
The
youngest of 6 children, Ramiro began playing bass and guitar at 13 years of age.
During his High School years, Ramiro started recording with friends Rosie Gains
(Prince) and Curt Ohlson (Ray Charles, Jorge Santana, Ray Obiedo). After High
School, Ramiro went on to tour and record with critically acclaimed Harp and
Violnist Carlos Reyes, Canadian born Alfi Zappacosta, as well as Latin Legends
Tierra, and El Chicano. Ramiro has also performed alongside composer/guitarist
Jorge Santana, Concord Records Latin Jazz Recording artist Pete Escovedo,
Percussion masters Orestes Vilato, Raul Rekow and Shiela E. Over
the past nine years, Ramiro has traveled the globe with the Latin Rock group
MALO, and has recorded four of MALO's past CD's. Touring with MALO allowed the
opportunity to share stages with famed artists such as, War, The Tower of Power,
Confunkshun, Poncho Sanchez and The Jazz Crusaders. Recently,
Ramiro has recorded with His brothers in Christ, Tony and Gabe with the
Christian Latin Rock Group "Bueno" and the Latin Funk band "Many
Faces" with drummer Greg Enrico from Sly and the Family Stone. Ramiro is
currently working on his solo CD as well as co-writing and co-producing the
Suave CD at Globel One Studios The Loft. Ramiro also has written songs for the
