With an extraordinary passion for the Fine Arts, Joy de Leon has devoted most of her life to singing, dancing and acting. She began singing at the age of three and her repertoire ranges from Broadway to Pop/Contemporary to Arias. She trained with well-known Bay area voice coach George Hernandez, who helped broaden her scope from Broadway to Pop/Contemporary, and with Kristy Juliano who aided Joy in discovering her ability in opera. Joy is an emerging new artist from Vallejo to watch for.


Jim Starr - Vocals

Jim was 17 years old when he performed at his first gig, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco before a Giant's baseball game. This was with an 8 piece band complete with a horn section. Since then he has performed with various groups that played R&B, Jazz, Soul, Rock, either playing trombone and/or singing. His first group called "Savory" cycled through numerous members with some moving on to play with the likes of Jefferson Starship, The Tubes, Tower of Power, Chris Cain Band, Michael Bolton and others. Jim has since played with various groups and has performed with members of Rare Earth, Iron Butterfly, Alice Cooper, Sugerloaf, Waymon Tisdale and numerous others. Jim keeps busy by working with other artists and groups including Wavelength. Jim is featured on the track "From Now On" on Wavelength's CD "Cruzin' the Music Highway". This track has received numerous high praise from reviewers as it showcases Jim's clear and wonderful voice as well as his style of singing. Jim is currently involved in a project with a Steely Dan Tribute band "Aja Vu" covering 28 of Steely Dan's greatest hits.


Remo Goods - Rap

The word "Excellence" is synonymous with the name "Remo Goods". Remo was born in North Philly,PA & presently lives in Oakland, CA. He developed his skills at an early age, performing at clubs through out Philadelphia. As a teen, he joined forces with Young P & Cocaine, D. J. Marvelous, & performed regularly as a group Called "I.E.S.". He also recorded with the group & was featured on the remix of their single "Currency" which was produced by Roughedness of Roughedness & Mad Drama.


An entertainers entertainer, Remo cites 2-Pac, Notorious B. I. G,  Jay-Z, Nas, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., 60's to 70's Soul music as his influences. Remo's passion for the truth enables him to tell his story with the convictions of an express train. He is a dedicated rap artist who remains true to his philosophy of "Go Hard or Go Home" and maintains a high standard of quality & integrity as a base in every recording session. 

This young Man has clearly lived a lot of life in a short lifetime and has taken his experiences  to a new level as an artist. 


 Carlos Caro - Percussion

Carlos is one of the most sought-after percussionists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Having played with some of the top Cuban groups such as Opus 13 and Paulito y su Elite, Carlos is making an impact as a percussionist on the West Coast.  He has worked with the Latin Rock group Malo. In addition, he performs with Jesus Diaz y su Qba, TumbaSon, Barbara y su Chambo, Orquesta Gitano, Avance, and Ritmo y Armonia. Carlos shows his versatility and talent on numerous cuts on Wavelength's CD "Cruzin' the Music Highway". A percussion solo showcases his skills on the track "Sunset Drive".


Alex Murzyn - Saxophone/Flute

Starting out on flute, Alex began to immerse himself in the world of jazz. Alex added on the tenor saxophone and absorbed lessons from veteran players Kim Hutchcroft and Joe Henderson. He attended Berklee College of Music, and  broadened his jazz appreciation to include players such as Michael Brecker, Steve Grossman, and Jerry Bergonzi. His versatility has enabled him to perform with a roster of artists, including Dizzy Gillespie's Big Band, Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, Pete Escovedo, Ray Obiedo, the Temptations, Jack Bruce, Sammy Davis Jr., and Ben Vereen as well as many others. Alex has released several CDs available at several Online Retailers. Alex displays a taste of his virtuosity on the track "Sunset Drive" with a flute solo, on Wavelength's CD "Cruzin' the Music Highway".


Terry Russell - Trombone

Terry is another SF Bay Area trombone staple who has recorded and performed with many groups. A very talented and creative player who can fit right in to any musical situation. 


Bobby Rawlings - Sax

Bobby is another SF Bay Area musician who has performed and recorded with numerous artists. Bobby is also a sax teacher and iss very instrumental in several Wavelength cuts on the CD "Masarap". He has an instrumental rendition of "Two of Us Together" and is present on several other cuts. Bobby has been Wavelength's live sideman for several years now.
